Mom On A Squidoo Mission

Well... Here it goes... My first lens ever.

My name is Linda and I live in Croatia - a small country in Europe. I am proud mother of two little boys and I have a mission. I want to be a work at home mom. This is my story.

My husband doesn't earn much so the only way that I could be at home with my children, is to find the most effective way to earn a monthly income on the internet. So, I started exploring. Google and I become very good friends over the past few weeks. I didn't had much sleep. I have read hundreds of advices and tips to learn how to make money online, but one page about at home staying mom that earns money on Squidoo, made me thinking. Is it possible? I don't know, I am new here but I am certainly gonna try it. I will close my eyes and dive in. Who dares, wins. Right?

Work At Home Mom

My husband thinks that my mission isn't such a good idea. He believes that the only way to earn money is to make your hands dirty. Literally. I hope I will able to show him that he's wrong and that the internet provides a variety of different opportunities for earning money.

However, I am completely aware that making money online is a job like any other and it takes a lot of time and hard work to achieve your goals. It's a bit easier if you are doing something that you like. Well, I love to write so I am happy that I have found Squidoo..

I am new on Squidoo, but according to what I have seen and read so far, this is the best place for me. I could easily make a web site somewhere else and write reviews about products that I like. However, I think I would be felling "alone on the web". I am a bloger at heart, I like to be a member of some kind of community. Can wait to explore other lenses and learn more Squidoo tips for lensmasters. Maybe even make some new friends?

You could say that I was lost before I discover Squidoo. I didn't know where to start and what to do. As I mentioned above, I was looking for some tips about making money online and I run into a lens that inspired me to join Squidoo. "Are you a Stay at Home Mom (or Dad) Interested in Earning a Monthly Income?" is amazing lens about Janet21's ideas for making money through Squidoo lenses. This is a must -read for stay at home moms or dads. Janet21's success is a truly inspiration for everyone.

People say that the motivation is the key of success. I feel motivated every time when I look at my children. I want to be able to stay home with my two little boys and earn a monthy income to pay bills and maybe buy a few toys. My dream is to be a work at home mom. Dario is almost two and a half years and Leo is just 7 months old. My maternitiy leave will end in March next year when Leo turn 1 so I have a couple of months to see if I am going to accomplish my goals. Stay tuned, I will update my progress.

I wasn't on Squidoo little over a year. My baby boy had a cyst under his chin and he needed a surgey so I put everything else on a side, including my work. It was a really scary experience for the family. Now he is a healthy 18 month old boy and I am back - ready to continue my Squidoo journey!

I was surprised to see that my Squidoo earnings reached 99 $ with only 11 lenses - and I didn't do anything a whole year! I am learning once again how things work over here. My plan is to write more lenses about things I know and just see what will happen.
